Theatre by the Lake in Keswick, Cumbria is the venue for this exciting literature festival organised by Ways With Words. For 10 days writers and readers get together to share the pleasure of books, words and ideas. Theatre by the Lake, sited right on the edge of Derwentwater is a striking venue. There are talks, lectures, discussions, workshops, book launches and special exhibitions.
The Words by the Water Festival at Theatre by the Lake in Keswick is the north-west of England’s premier festival of words and ideas. Although the festival can’t summon Wordsworth and Coleridge to take part in their programme, there are many other literary folk coming to the Lake District in March 2017.
